1Students passing 10+2/PU (Arts, Science, or Commerce for present course) or equivalent from any recognized Board/University or National Open School, with English as one of the compulsory subject, will be eligible for admission to the B.A. 1^st year(FYBA) degree course of the Distance Education Programme. Students passing B.A. 1^st year and 2^nd year(SYBA) under Distance Education Programme from Rajiv Gandhi University will be eligible for admission to B.A 2^nd and 3^rd year(TYBA) degree course of the Distance Education Programme, respectively. The learners of B.A. Programme who get reappear in the annual examination can take admission in the next class. However the degree has to be completed within five years irrespective of chances available for reappear only.

2A candidate who is allotted University roll number to appear in First Year of B.A. shall only be allowed to take admission in 2^nd year.

Students passing Class-X or equivalent from any recognized Board/University or National Open School will be eligible for admission to the Certificate Course in Fisheries Technology.
